Worthy to be my PostSecret

Sometimes I feel sad watching people playing the piano, or the violin so amazingly well. I feel like I could be that person there if I hadn't chosen the path I choose.

The weird thing is, even though the F horn is my love, I haven't felt that way about the horn before.

Maybe I should get back to pharmacy.

You're already amazing on horn! :P
I sometimes wish I'd put more effort into violin, too. Then again, there are a lot of things I wish I'd done. At least I didn't quit, like many of my friends who played as a child and now regret quitting.

I used to play flute in elementary school and hated it. I also took piano lessons and loved it. I wish I would have kept up with it.

@puppydogbriefs -

You brought up a good point, I wonder about that too. I'm not sure if I will envy people who are very knowledgeable in things like, say "pharmacy," if I had chosen another path... The reason I refused to even think of studying art (not music) was because I thought that's my passion, and studying art would probably make me like it less. But music is not really on the same level for me, that's why I think it's possible to study music and not change how I feel about it.

how do you distinguish between passion and interest? and how do you ever know which is the right path? you seem content, i'm trying to find the same contentedness :)
